To Our Customers: We hope you are participating in our 30-day water conservation challenge this June. As we mark 30 years in business, we aim to positively impact our communities through actions like using rain barrels, maintaining longer grass with less frequent mowing, and being mindful about running taps. How are you contributing to water conservation? For more ideas, please follow us on Facebook.
Be well, The Water-Flo Team

Water Conservation Tips During this early drought season, we see many “out of water” calls due to factors like lightning strikes or excessive water usage. Some tips to conserve water include:
- Installing rain barrels for watering plants and in power outages for flushing toilets. Local garden clubs often sell them as fundraisers, offering both functional and decorative options.
- Creating rain gardens, which are beautiful ways to collect and cleanse runoff. Find design ideas here.
- Being mindful of water use to avoid self-induced water outages, like filling pools or accidentally leaving the hose on overnight.
- Using commercial car washes, which are more efficient than washing at home. Learn more about car wash water conservation here.
- Cleaning vegetables in a bowl instead of under running water to minimize waste.
